The Skandi Vitoria pipe lay vessel is equipped with vertical and horizontal pipe-lay systems, a 250 mt crane, and two ROVs. It is capable of operating in water depths up to 3,000 meters and it is suited for pipe laying, subsea construction, and installation and maintenance work. The vessel has been lay-up since the summer of 2018 and has rewarded a contract starting from February / March 2021 for two years.
The vessel is now upgraded in Amsterdam at the Damen Shiprepair & Conversion yard and had a shortage of lighting on the main deck.
Harbour Electronical Services was initially invited to perform a site survey and prepare some lighting calculations around the cranes, aft side and around the life raft area and was rewarded for supply and install of several floodlights and luminaires. HES North together with her local partner Harbour Maintenance Group are installing and welding all supporting including floodlight and luminaires supplied by Theunissen Technical Trading BV.
Another job well done
