Island Condor

Harbour Electronical Services BV received the order from DAMEN Shiprepair Amsterdam for overhauling and repair of two bow thruster motor of offshore supply vessel Island Condor operating under Norwegian flag. The work included the following activities: Electrical disconnecting of two motors on board of the vessel, Transport for two motors from Damen Amsterdam shipyard to our workshop in Vlaardingen and vice versa after repair, Electrical reconnection of motors, In our workshop the revision works comprised: Check General condition & wiring integrity, Shield and rotor removal, Check Cleanliness stator, Installation of delivered bearings to rotor, Installation of rotor, Testing without load and with load. All activities were performed in five days and partly in the weekend with perfect co-operation with yard and without any incidents for personnel and environment.
